Alice’s recipe for a perfect Mother’s Day

1 Deserving Mum
1 Grateful Son or Daughter
6 Pinches of Thoughtfulness
Dedicated Time

1. Prior to Mother’s Day contact your Deserving Mum and let her know that she is in for a real treat this Mother’s Day courtesy of her Grateful Son/Daughter. Women and in particular Mums are planners, they like to have things organised and something to look forward to.

2. On the eve of Mother’s Day use 2 Pinches of Thoughtfulness and get to bed early to make sure you are well rested for your special Mother’s Day. No boozing it up as Mum does not want to look after you hungover.

3. On the morning Of Mother’s Day use your Dedicated Time and rise early to purchase the ingredients for your Mum’s favourite breakfast treats. For best results sneak into her kitchen and commence cooking prior to her waking.TIP: If you don’t know what Mum likes for breakfast, ask her.

4. Upon your Deserving Mum gracing you with her presence greet her with a great big “Happy Mother’s Day!” Using another 2 Pinches of Thoughtfulness present your Mum with the RedBalloon Experience Voucher that you carefully chose with her in mind. Inform your Mum that today is all about her and insist she relaxes.

5. Serve breakfast and present your Mum with a list of activity options for the day. If you’re stuck for ideas add the remaining 2 Pinches of Thoughtfulness and mix well. Failing that here are some ideas to get you started:

- Go for a leisurely walk, followed by lunch at her favourite restaurant.
- Let Mum sit back and watch you mow the lawns and tidy the garden.
- Movies and yummy treats on the couch.

Enjoy and Remember: Time spent with your Mum costs nothing, but means the world to her. Don’t scrimp!

My daughter knew that one of my dreams on my “bucket list” was to go for a ride on the back of a Harley. For Mothers Day she purchased this experience for me from Red Balloon. I can’t wait to experience the thrill of the bike ride
