What do you buy for the Mum who has everything? A Helicopter flight of course!

Last year for Mother’s Day I bought my Mum a Helicopter Joy Flight for 2- and to prove acts of random kindness literally runs in my family- she decided to bring along her Mum (aka my 80 yr old Grandma) to join her for the ride.

They were both rather excited, albeit nervous as they had never been in a helicopter before but the Pilot soon put them at ease and they were lifting off the ground before they knew it.

The views were amazing and being late January in Perth, the weather was pretty awesome too. They flew over Perth, then down the coast over Cottesloe to Freo and back up again over Kings Park. Even my Grandma who was pretty sceptical about the flight remarked that the view was stunning.

Overall both my Mum and Grandma had a great time and proving that she is ever the technological master- the photos even graced my Mum’s Facebook page. Hurray for Adventure before Dementia! (as my Grandma says).
