Take a (sky)walk on the wild side

Take a (sky)walk on the wild side

One of the best things about working at RedBalloon is the people we work with. Every trimester we arrange a team activity or outing, and last trimester the Customer Experience team did the Skywalk at Sydney Tower Eye.

A birthday high tea for mum and me

A birthday high tea for mum and me

My mum’s a pretty incredible woman. Between raising four kids under five, completing a statistics PHD and answering my endless “Where did I leave my keys/wallet/handbag?” questions by using what I can only assume is Xray vision – the woman is practically superwoman. So when I saw that my mum’s birthday was rapidly approaching, I was pretty stumped with what to get her.

The power of giving

The power of giving

For me, skydiving has always been number one on my bucket list. So when RedBalloon told me I was going to be jumping from a plane, I couldn’t wait to share the exciting news with my family and friends. I vividly remember feeling both happy and terrified at the same time.

I don’t mean that I’m a contender for Masterchef or a sophisticated epicure… I  just LOVE food! So when I purchased my friend Alex the 8 Course Degustation Dinner – For 2 for her birthday it wasn’t an [...]

Bringing the WOW factor to Mother’s Day

Bringing the WOW factor to Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day. The rules around here are pretty simple. It’s the one day of the year that mum doesn’t have to do anything …. unless of course she wants to. I get to relax, watch TV, read my book or simply snooze on the couch all day – if I want to. For that one day a year there is no such thing as housework or cooking and definitely no cleaning up after little people. Oh my lordybe it’s blissful and I look forward to and savour every minute of it.
